We are pleased to recruit to the role of Senior Occupational Therapist within the Musculoskeletal Service. Working across the North and East Ayrshire partnership areas (based at University Hospital Crosshouse). This post offers an exciting and interesting career opportunity.
We are looking for an innovative and flexible Occupational Therapist with experience working across both physical and mental health areas. Experience of working within an MSK hand service advantageous; specifically; trauma elective and rheumatology.
You will be required to manage a caseload of people with varying health and social care needs. Professional confidence with complex decision making is essential.
You will support people to participate and engage in occupations which are meaningful and important to them; both as individuals and as members of wider communities.
Clinical and line management supervision will be provided and we are keen to support applicants to learn and develop skills within the role.
A degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration are essential requirements.
A current driving licence and access to a care is essential for community working.
Hours: 22.5 per week
