Your new organisation
The City of London Corporation's Reablement and Occupational Therapy service is part of the Adult Social Care Department. The services are very integrated with each other as well as with the health service. As the Occupational Therapist, you will be located with your own team consisting of two Reablement Workers in addition to yourself and will sit very close to the Adults' Social Workers Team.
Your new role
You will undertake Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions for the Adult Social Care Service. The team consists of two reablement co-coordinators who you will provide management support to. You will oversee the day to day management of the Reablement Service ensuring compliance with CQC requirements. Your expertise will also be required to devise, design and implement rehabilitation plans in conjunction with the social work staff in relation to reassessment of service users who have lived in supported living, and outcomes for step down alternatives towards independent living
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
- Current HCPC registration
- Substantial post-qualified experience in the UK as an Occupational Therapist
- Ability & willingness to work autonomously
- Supervision/line management experience
