Senior nursery practitioner role for private day nursery in Bristol
Your new company
You will be working in a small, family run nursery that has been open since 1991. The nursery cares for children aged 3 month to 5 years old,The nursery prides its self on its loving and nurturing ethos where they cater and adapt to each individuals skills and talents. Most recently the nursery received an Ofsted 'Good' as they highlighted the quality of care that is provided to children. The nursery has good public transport links with one of the main bus routes passing the setting but also has a car park on site for staff members.
Your new role
You will be taking on the responsibility as third in charge for the nursery, where you will be working with the senior staff to provide support to other staff members and delver excellent childcare, ensuring the safety of the environment. You will also be working with SEN children so experience in this area would be beneficial. Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and provide support where needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role within an Early Years setting will lead to your success. You will require a level 3 qualifications in childcare. You can be newly qualified in childcare as this nursery is open to training and developing their staff. You will have a track record of planning activities, observations and recording preferably within a similar age. You be able to lead a team and have a strong passion for childcare.
