We are an extremely friendly, and forward thinking team and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic Band 8a for our acute services. We are looking for

A Nurse with lots of experience at a senior level and looking for a challenge

A Nurse who is passionate about healthcare and focused on professionalism and excellence

And a Nurse who wants to make a difference and be part of an exciting leadership team

The successful applicant will be involved in current and future quality improvement projects that underpin the Health Board strategy.

The Health Board promotes all individuals to have a healthy work life balance and this is evidenced by a flexible approach to working for all members of staff.

The post holder will be expected to support and lead a number of multi-disciplinary teams in effectively engaging with service users and their families in a way that enhances recovery.

This is an exciting role which is based on supporting service users effectively and compassionately through the acute phase of their pathway to earliest recovery and supported transition beyond our service.

Working as part of the Senior leadership team the Senior Nurse Manger has a key role in engaging people who use our services and those who provide the service to ensure our principles and standards of care and treatment are evidence based and constantly improving.

The successful applicant will have recent relevant experience and significant operational management experience including management of performance and quality indicators.

You will need an eye for detail and be passionate about fundamental nursing standards. If you think you are up to a challenge and want to work in a rewarding environment, we would like to hear from you.
