As a Senior .NET Developer you will be responsible for building and maintaining high quality software products and services. You will provide guidance and technical direction to other development team members, and take the lead on key pieces of work. This role is critical to enabling the company to deliver responsive, robust and secure software products that satisfy both business and end user requirements.
You will also work to introduce and uphold a passionate engineering culture through techniques of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Senior .NET Developer Responsibilities:
*Work on back-end, front-end and other associated technologies to build and maintain software products.
*Architect and develop technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions and champion their adoption.
*Participate in and promote a culture of pair programming, code reviews, writing technical specifications and collaborating closely with other people.
*Promote and ensure the highest levels of quality are maintained through a DevOps style approach to software development (test automation, release automation and application monitoring).
*Collaborate with Design, Quality Assurance and other developers to understand users' needs and refine technical solutions.
*Research new technologies and adapt them to meet our requirements.
*Identify and implement changes to aide continuous improvement within the software development lifecycle.
*Contribute to the development of our software development framework and promote its adoption.
*Mentor, motivate and continually challenge a mix of Graduate Software Developers and Software Developers to reach their full potential.
*Collaborate with external suppliers, partners and customers.
*Keep up to date with the latest developments in software engineering.
Senior .NET Developer Requirements:
*Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
*Hands-on experience in developing, designing and scaling complex systems.
*Demonstrated technical development expertise and solid engineering fundamentals.
*Proficient in working with SQL and/ or other database technologies.
*Experience operating within an agile and DevOps delivery environment and be a passionate advocate of these practices.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong planning and organisational skills.
*Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels from across the business.
