Our client is an established food business that is going through a period of rapid growth. They serve the retail multiples with a variety of products through brand and own label as well as the food service channel. They have seen consistent growth over the past 5+ years and are keen to add more talent to their team to facilitate further business growth.
About the Role:
The role will focus on supporting the team to enable growth within new and existing accounts. You will analyse sales information, market data and trends to drive sales and commercial results through strategic decisions and forming JBP's with clients. Your experience within food / FMCG sectors will enable you to solve potential issues before they arise. You will have inside knowledge of the supermarket supply chain and know how demanding and challenging this can be. You will utilise your experience to negotiate with clients to ensure the continued success and growth of the accounts assigned to you. Depending on experience you may be asked to manage a direct report(s) who look after smaller accounts for the business.
The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years' experience as a National Account Manager within food retail who is looking for a step up. You will have a track record of delivering commercial results at pace with the major food retailers. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the food supply chain and negotiating with the major mults. You will be well educated with a minimum of a 2:1 degree, ideally from a Redbrick / Russell Group University.
To be considered for this role you must hold a degree to a minimum 2:1 standard and have experience as a National Account Manager serving the major retailers.
Circa £70-£80k + package DOE
