University College Hospital is part of the UCLH NHS Foundation Trust which has a reputation for innovation and providing excellent patient-focused care. UCH is centrally located within easy reach of the many amenities that London has to offer, catering for a wide and diverse population.
The Trust is one of the designated Hyper-Acute Stroke Units in London and imaging will form an integral part of the patient pathway. The Imaging Department has a comprehensive range of state of the art equipment, including 7 MRI scanners, 5 CT scanners, a digital Interventional Suite and digital X-ray rooms all fully integrated with PACS.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced radiographer to work in a cutting-edge clinical environment performing advanced MRI scanning. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled radiographer with a strong interest in MRI. You will need to be team orientated with demonstrable teaching abilities as you will be working with under-graduates, trainee radiologists and trainee MRI radiographers. The clinical range of patient presentations is wide and we would expect the successful applicant to communicate effectively, with a patient centred approach.
The department is keen to facilitate continual professional development and all staff are actively supported in this area.
Participation in the MRI extended week rota is essential as is a desire to develop your MRI skills and abilities.
If you are successful on shortlisting we would be happy to arrange a tour of the department at the time of your Interview.
