Link Asset Services has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Mortgage Oversight officer to administer the independent oversight of outsourced mortgage activities, on behalf of the Group's UK residential mortgage lender. The position is to work with the Senior Risk and Oversight Manager to administer the Rooftop Mortgages Limited Risk Management framework, policies and procedures in monitoring Rooftop Mortgages Limited oversight requirements of services from it's third party suppliers. You will be mandated to make decisions on Customers accounts in line with quality standards for conduct and risk requirements. You will provide high quality input for the production of reports to the Rooftop Mortgages Limited Board of Directors and Clients.

Job Description

Specific Tasks and Accountabilities:
•Administer monitoring and reporting of the Rooftop Mortgages ('the Lender') Risk Management Framework.
•Ensure the Lender's outsourced activities carried out by all Third Party suppliers, for the Lender, are delivered in accordance with servicing agreements and expected standards. This includes oversight activity as defined with the Lender's Monitoring Plan.
•Administer recommendations made by Third Party suppliers on individual mortgage accounts in relation to mortgage administration, arrears management, complaints and loan resolutions.
•Maintain appropriate records of customer outcomes, decisions made and the Lender's oversight activities.
•Administer facilitation of the Lender's internal and external governance schedules to oversee performance from Third party suppliers.
•Assist with projects as defined by the Senior Risk and Oversight Manager to ensure project timeframes and objectives are achieved.
•Keep up to date with regulatory developments impacting mortgage lending and administration.
•Deputise for the Risk and Oversight Manager, as directed.

Decision Making:
•Work with complex issues, create logical outcomes and present these in a persuasive manner
•Ensure decisions made provide best outcomes for the Lender's Customers and Clients with a key focus on regulatory and financial impact.
•Provide accurate and logical results from oversight activities undertaken within the Lender's Monitoring Plan.
•Appropriate identification of new and emerging risks and take ownership to make decisions to accurately manage on-going risks and mitigated activities.


•Several years Financial Services experience, ideally in the mortgage servicing industry.
•Knowledge and experience of mortgage arrears practices.
•Customer focused - identify effective solutions for Customers, internal and external Clients.
•Knowledge and experience of administering risks within an organisation.
•Knowledge of compliance with applicable regulations/codes governing mortgages and financial services.
•Ability to works as an effective team member - be co-operative, support others and deliver on expectations.
•Ability to communicate at different levels of an organisation.
•Ability to organise workload to meet deadlines
•Excellent quality of written and verbal communication.
•Confidence in own ability to work under own initiative and to deliver, communicate and present to internal and external stakeholders.
