Salary: £39,143 to £44,501 per annum

This post would suit a Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse with extra skills/training in delivering Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

My Client is an experienced, national provider of residential care for adults with over 300 bespoke placements across 60 specialist services in the UK. We have been a trusted partner to over 50 local authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups since 2004. Our Services are designed to help our service users enjoy a happy, fulfilling life and achieve as much social inclusion and as much independence as possible.

Providing specialist residential accommodation for adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Conditions, Prader Willi Syndrome, Mental Illness and Personality Disorders. We have also, recently developed two Specialist Personality Disorder Treatment Services and Children’s Service.

This is an exciting opportunity to joinan expanding Clinical Team, currently, consisting of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist/DBT Therapist, a Specialist Occupational Therapist/ DBT Therapist and two Assistant Psychologists/DBT Skills Trainers. 

The main focus of the role will be as part of the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Team in the Specialist Personality Disorder Treatment Services in Nottingham and Leeds, but there will also be opportunities to be part of our Multi-Disciplinary Intensive Support Team.
The residential treatment service opened in July 2016 and has been running the DBT since January 2016.

The successful applicant will travel between two local sites and will also be expected to be able to travel to other services. The role is to work as part of the DBT Team, delivering individual therapy and co facilitating the DBT group, attending the fortnightly DBT Consultation Group and helping the service users to generalise their DBT skills within the homes and the wider community. The successful applicant will also be expected to help to plan and supervise other activities and therapeutic groups within the homes. 
Previous experience using DBT, working with personality disorders, learning disabilities or with Individuals experiencing mental health conditions is required for this post
