The Role

As a Senior Mental Capacity Lawyer, you will manage the complex and high-value affairs of clients who have received class-leading compensation awards through our Clinical Negligence Team.

Collaborating closely with the head of our Wealth Management Team, you'll drive innovation and growth and expand the team’s offering.

Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in training, expanding and shaping our Mental Capacity & Court of Protection sub-team.

About You

To be considered as a Senior Mental Capacity Lawyer, you will need:

- A background in Court of Protection matters
- Significant experience of working with children and adults, with highly complex needs, who have been awarded significant compensation awards
- A successful record of guiding vulnerable clients and families through complex property development projects, budgeting and investment arrangements
- Experience of liaising with family members, financial advisors, care providers and case managers
- Familiarity with the Court of Protection supervision and reporting procedures
