Prism 7 Recruitment are working on behalf of our client who are a 4 * independent hotel based in Windsor to recruit a Senior/Supervisor Meeting & Events Co-ordinator

This historic hotel has an excellent location, in the heart of Windsor. The hotel has 194 rooms, a restaurant serving modern British and International cuisine, a relaxing lounge bar with a bright conservatory, and 8 natural daylight, meeting and events rooms with a capacity up to 250.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior/Supervisor Meeting & Events Coordinator

•To ensure the smooth running of all M&E and group bookings from initial enquiry through to final accounting, providing a consistent first class standard of service to all customers through the dedicated implementation of the departmental SOP standards.
•To maximise revenue through effective sales techniques and conversion of enquiries.
•To communicate all clients’ needs throughout the hotel through the publishing of weekly function sheets and amendments as appropriate.
•To ensure the highest quality and standards are maintained in all of the information and printed material issued.
•To attend daily/weekly business meetings as required to co-ordinate the smooth operation of all departments.
•To be able to do show-rounds to all potential clients and facilitate the co-ordination of booking of the Food and Beverage outlets.
•To effectively supervise the day to day operations of the revenue office in the absence of the Revenue & Events Office Manager.
•To provide support and guidance to the events co-ordinator.

Desired Qualifications / Experience of the Senior/Supervisor Meeting & Events Coordinator

•Ideally a Graduate in Hospitality Management or Tourism
•A minimum of 2 years experience in Meeting and Events Sales and F&B Operations in a 4 star hotel in London
•A minimum of 1 years’ supervisory experience is desirable.
•Experience of dealing with special events such as weddings, christening
•Experience of handling individual and group reservations would be advantageous
•Computer literate (the hotel uses Opera PMS & Events 500)
•Opera property management system experience is ideal.

•Self-motivated, proactive, with a passion for sales & achievement of targets
•A real people person and a good team player.
•A professional telephone manner.
•Well presented as will be meeting clients and conducting showrounds.
•Good clear telephone voice with excellent spoken & written English, attention to detail and good administration skills
•Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
•Flexible as working hours will be 5 days per week on rota, between hours of 8am - 6pm including occasional evening and Saturday.
