Your new company
A specialist engineering multi-disciplinary consultancy with project management arm is looking to recruit a senior mechanical design engineer in a permanent basis. They are specialists in industrial, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing environments.
Your new role
The role is to work within a team to look at the feasibility, concept and detailed design for a large industrial project. You will take the scheme through to tender stage. You will be looking at the general mechanical building services including cold stores, HVAC plant utilities, hot and cold water. You will be using HEVACOMP. You will also be using your surveying skills to complete a site survey prior to providing an engineering solution.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally need a degree or HND /HNC in Mechanical or Building Services HVAC. You will have a significant level of experience operating at a senior level, where you have taken control of design projects ideally in a consultancy or contracting design environment. You will be able to work on complex and large design projects and be able to offer effective design solutions.
What you'll get in return
There is a competitive salary available, depending on experience but will be between £35,000-40,000 per annum plus car allowance. The company have a large car park and offer free car parking. This is an exciting permanent position. Projects are varied and complex and so you are pushed in your engineering.
