A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead a growing UK-based marketing function for a group of Engineering & Environmental businesses.

This is a strategic, hands-on role that will suit a commercially minded B2B marketing professional who enjoys building relationships across a complex business.

Leading a small, ambitious team and working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll take ownership of campaign strategy, brand alignment, team development and sales enablement tools - driving activity that makes a measurable impact.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

· Lead the UK marketing team, managing three direct reports with potential to expand the team (including events).

· Create and implement a clear, effective marketing strategy that supports business goals across multiple brands.

· Own and manage the sales enablement tool Showpad, ensuring effective use and adoption across the commercial team.

· Develop and oversee annual marketing budgets, including forecasting, spend tracking and supplier management.

· Manage day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring campaigns are well-executed, aligned, and consistently delivered on time and within budget.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to stay informed of upcoming projects, customer needs and business priorities.

· Lead the planning and execution of UK-wide events and exhibitions, including attendance and coordination of key teams.

· Promote use of the CRM system and support integration into wider marketing and commercial activity.

· Champion brand consistency while driving creative and customer-focused content across digital, print and events.

· Collaborate with agencies, suppliers and contractors to deliver engaging campaigns and quality marketing outputs.

Skills & Experience Required

· Proven experience in a senior-level B2B marketing role, ideally with a background in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technical services.

· A strong track record of team leadership, with experience managing and developing marketing professionals.

· Solid understanding of marketing operations including strategic planning, budget management, and performance reporting.

· Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on, supporting team members where required.

· Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Office, Canva, and Showpad (or similar sales enablement platforms).

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.

· Organised, proactive and detail-focused with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Qualifications

· Degree in Marketing or related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience in a similar marketing leadership role.

· Full UK driving licence required

Working Arrangements

· Based at Head Office in Chandlers Ford, with hybrid working available.

· Travel to other UK sites, events or exhibitions is expected, with 1-2 overnight stays per month (pool or hire car provided).

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits
