This is an exciting opportunity as Senior Marketing Manager to join our Knowledge Solutions Marketing team in Chiswick, West London.
About the Role
Accountable for strategic subscription marketing of all non-BSOL subscription products (Compliance Navigator and Eurocodes+) within the Standards and Publishing portfolio and associated acquisition and renewal sales targets. Further accountable for the marketing contribution in cross-functional teams working on new digital product development.
Responsible for all strategic marketing activities supporting new business and renewals, for non-BSOL subscription products, in order that customer perception, experience and support, brand impact, market exposure can be maximised throughout the product life-cycle.
Work with key internal stakeholders in Sales, Product Management, Standards Publishing, Customer Services and the Notified Body to provide strategic marketing support for the product including customer feedback/needs on content and functionality, value proposition and training support.
Work with Sales on support required including competitor offering analysis, up-to-date market intelligence, sales support materials, practical sales visit where appropriate and presentation support.
Continually work with sales in order to deliver increased market penetration and average order value in addition to generation and delivery of the annual product strategic marketing plans within budget.
This role will work closely with the Head of Marketing and assist as required with the development and/or execution of departmental, product or corporate strategies and strategic direction.
The Senior Marketing Manager will be the 'new product champion’ responsible for marketing subscriptions in line with their product-life cycle, increasing acquisition and retention rates, and managing the digital marketing strategy.
Strong experience marketing digital subscription products with a focus on strategic marketing ranging from new product development and launch to maintaining a mature digital product.
Previous people management experience is essential
Graduate (or equivalent) with marketing qualification is highly desirable (eg CIM)
Proactive and results orientated, with the proven ability to deliver sales targets
Expertise in content and digital marketing e.g. search, social media are essential
Excellent understanding of all marketing channels coupled with currentunderstanding of digital/content marketing trends and opportunities
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, adapted to all levels of internal colleagues and external contacts representing the BSI brand
Experience of developing strong internal working relationships across functions with proven ability to influence
External/industry focus with ability to bring new ideas and experiment
Good IT skills - MS Office
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the legal aspects of marketing from Data Protection, Trade.
