Senior Manager

A Top 50 Accountancy Practice on the Lincolnshire, Rutland and Leicestershire border is looking to recruit a Senior manager to join them.

Working in this relaxed and professional environment the focus is on service to clients and adapting to the new expectations of a business advisory organisation.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Working in a busy accounts department with the Partners on a varied range of clients from sole traders to limited companies
  • Efficiently run a portfolio of clients
  • Work closely with the Partners and lead by example
  • Forge new relationships and maintain the strong existing relationships
  • Showcase a comprehensive understanding of business awareness
  • Possess strong reporting skills with an ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Develop your team and support them to achieve company targets
  • Provision of technical support to all staff when required
  • Report directly into senior management
  • Challenge and change processes and systems

Skills and experience required:

  • Essential - Practice experience managing a portfolio of clients
  • Ideally qualified ACA, ACCA or QBE will be considered - 5 years general practice experience essential
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective staff management skills
  • Experience of costs and business planning essential
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting standards
  • Must be fully conversant with accounts preparation programs
