The firm has grown significantly through both organic client growth and successful mergers with a number of smaller accounting firms across the Bristol region and further afield. Based The client base is wide ranging with a focus on growing, innovative OMBs, SMEs and clients looking for added value advice, providing an environment where you can build long term, rewarding relationships with business owners and become a trusted partner. Due to a strategy for growth, development and with succession to plan for within the Bristol operations, the directors are looking for the right individual who can develop the firm and progress within the organisation.
Joining this firm as a Senior Manager you will work closely alongside directors, heading up and leading this successful Bristol office, in a lead role in this growing firm. A very clear path and route to progress to Director, with potential equity/profit share is also on offer. Alongside managing a team of accountants, you will have responsibility for a wide ranging portfolio of clients, perhaps up to around £200,000 in fees. Clients are varied in sector and tend to focus on growing OMBs and SMEs across wide ranging sectors. Largest clients are to around the audit threshold in turnover, with a core range in the hundreds of thousands to £1million range. Services therefore focus on accounts, tax and wider ranging general practice services. As well as managing a quality compliance service you will be looking to to develop relationships with your clients and drive the growth of this office for the future. The right individual will look to advise clients on a wide ranging, accounting, tax, business planning, profitability maximisation, succession, share options, etc as a trusted go to advisor.
You will be ACA, ACCA qualified with a strong background in accountancy practice gained within any, or a varied mix of small, medium/large independent accounting firm size, or top 100, mid tier or top tier firm background. You will have skills across the range any of of audit, accounts, tax, advisory and planning skills. You will be looking to step up into a Director level role and be able to demonstrate the skills required with relationship building skills and be searching for a challenging new career opportunity, where you can carve this career path.
Circa £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience, background and level, negotiable plus benefits
