Senior Management Accountant

£45,000 to £50,000 plus Benefits, with Hybrid and Flexible Working Arrangements

ABPM are supporting a niche and well-established SME manufacturing client to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. As a key member for the senior management team, you will focus on ensuring accurate and timely management reporting and providing information to assist business decisions. The successful individual will be a qualified accountant, an active studier or is close to completion, who can use their knowledge and experience to add value through detailed analysis.

An insight into your responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded, reported, reviewed, and reconciled.
• Produce rolling cashflow forecasting.
• Provide financial analysis for decision making.
• Production of sales invoices for UK and overseas, including foreign rates and VAT.
• Ensure VAT is accounted for correctly on all transactions.
• Assist to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Continuously seek improvements for accounts and reporting.
• Compliance with regulations and legislations throughout.
• Support the annual audit, with the production of year end accounts and annual stocktake.

Do you have the knowledge and experience?

• AAT Qualified, ACA / ACCA / ACMA / CIMA studier or a Chartered Accountant.
• Sector experience within Manufacturing, Engineering or Construction.
• IT literate with advanced Excel skills. ERP/MRP knowledge would be desirable.
• Foreign currency skills would be an advantage but not essential.
