Our client, based in York are a leading independent organisation operation in the charitable sector. They are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join them for a period of 12 months.
Your New Role
Working as part of a team you will lead with provision of financial advice and services in the fields of Management Accountant, zero based budgeting, value for money reviews and financial planning & appraisal. Duties will include;
Improve & coordinate the preparation of the monthly management accounts
Consolidate functional budgets to prepare corporate revenue and capital budgets monitoring packs
Work with budget holders in the development and management of functional capital and revenue budgets
Lead the team of finance business partners to ensure budget holders receive appropriate reports
Lead on specific Zero based budgeting
Provision of advice to colleagues to ensure that proper consideration is taken of financial implications of decisions
Review and revise the allocation of corporate overheads
Undertake training & development of business partners
Ad hoc duties as required

This role is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. You will be a qualified accountant with solid experience of leading, developing and motivating a team. You will have the ability to prepare, analyse and interpret information and produce reports. Salary guide £38000
