Senior Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator

Role Profile

Our client, who is a growing privately-owned business are looking to recruit a Senior Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator to work out of their operation in Warrington. Working as part of an established Logistics team, you'll be responsible for responding to customer enquiries and qualifying leads to be passed to the delivery team. You will work Monday to Friday, typical office hours but will work an on-call rota which is one in four weekends, replying to inbound queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership and responsibility for the customer experience, ensuring excellent service is delivered consistently.
  • Response promptly and efficiently to customer enquiries
  • Process and manage all quotes, job bookings according to company policy & procedures.
  • Liaise with the Logistics team to maximise customer potential spend.
  • Conduct weekly customer review/ account calls to identify trends and provide feedback for learnings.
  • Update CRM with customer information and conduct account calls to identify & secure future business.
  • Communicate regular updates to customers, proactively working with them to provide exceptional service.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience working in a B2B Customer Service role.
  • Experience or understanding of logistics would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Confident telephone manner, dealing with both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Strong attention to detail and process-oriented
  • A natural problem solver
  • Highly organised with ability to manage multiple tasks and processes at the same time.
  • Flexible approach to work with willingness to undertake additional tasks as required.
