Our client runs a state of the art sports and leisure club based in the grounds of an exclusive private school in Northwood. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Leisure Assistant to join their team.
·Support the day to day running of the facilities, services and lettings
·Maintain a safe and secure environment for users and staff at all times
Tasks and Responsibilities
·Operate the building and facilities in accordance with Normal Operating Procedures, Emergency Action Plans, and the Health and Safety policy in order to provide a safe environment for all.
·Act as a key holder and open and close facility ensuring building/equipment checks are carried out as stipulated in the daily log and security of the building is maintained at all times.
·Ensure pool water is safe to swim in accordance with normal operating guidelines
·Assist the Centre Manager and Assistant Manager with administration as required.
·Act as receptionist for all Centre users-promote a customer-focused environment, generating excellent public relations and customer care.
·Ensure all relevant qualifications are kept up to date, and attend/undertake any training as required.
·Act as Lifeguard as required
National Pool Lifeguard (NPLQ) - Essential
Pool Plant Operators Certificate - Preferable (the School will support the right candidate in obtaining this qualification)
Recognised REPS fitness qualification - Preferential
ASA teachers award - Preferential
