Senior Learning & Development Partner

Our market leading client is looking for an experienced L&D Business Partner to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders to create an energetic learning environment across the business whilst developing the individual and team knowledge and behaviours required to achieve business strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the L&D Partner
  • Working autonomously and as part of a small team to deliver key learning outcomes
  • Developing the skills and performance of managers
  • Providing a coaching environment where individuals are continually developing their skills and knowledge
  • Carrying out one to one coaching with managers and maintaining coaching records
  • Reviewing training and coaching programmes and implementing changes and improvements as required
  • Creating and updating e-learning modules
  • Responsibility for the L&D budget
  • Creating and administering training events

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in a Senior Learning & Development role
  • Strong talent management experience
  • Previous man management experience
  • Proven track record of working with and influencing Senior Managers
  • Able to identify training needs and implement effective solutions
  • Able to design and deliver learning solutions
  • Previous coaching experience
  • Experience of training/coaching facilitation
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Able to use your own initiative
