This organisation is a leading engineering firm based in Poole, right in the centre of the South Coast. Due to sustained growth they are now in a position to add a number of Embedded specialists to their delivery team. Both Senior and Lead titles will involve hands-on work, with Lead Engineers expected to contribute to strategy and higher level processes.
Your new role
You'll be working in a well-established highly skilled team of engineers to keep the company's products ahead of industry standards. We're seeking low level specialists with full software / firmware development lifecycle experience that can comply with coding standards and follow secure/high-integrity coding approaches.
You should be comfortable taking the lead in identifying, monitoring and controlling project related risks and will provide input to technical peer reviews of system designs, related module designs and coding across the team.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll possess significant experience in design and coding of firmware for embedded systems using C. Experience in a Linux environment is essential, as is a deep level of commercial experience in an engineering environment. We're seeking someone with degree in Electronics, Computer Science or similar.
To standout we are looking for experience with 8/16 Microcontrollers and TCP standards. Work on ARM devices will serve you well, and broader knowledge of OO programming (Java, Python, C++) would be utilised in the role due to the broad range of product areas.
