Senior LC-MS/MS Method Development Specialist

Our client is a successful, expanding and GLP/GCP compliant specialist contract laboratory that performs quantitative analysis of drugs, metabolites and endogenous biomarkers in biological fluids and other matrices to support pharmaceutical and academic R&D. This is a full time, permanent position, based in Hertfordshire.

The Role

For this position, we are looking for an individual, who is experienced in developing quantitative LC-MS/MS methods, who not only enjoys working in the lab developing methods, but is also well versed in instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Due to the nature of the work carried out at the facility, it is a requirement that the candidate is a non-smoker in order to prevent contamination of our facilities.

Role Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Experience performing quantitative analysis for biomarkers or drugs present in biological matrices in support of clinical trials
  • Expert at of developing and validating quantitative LC-MS/MS methods to EMA/FDA guidelines using protein precipitation, liquid-liquid and solid phase extractions
  • Enjoyment of lab work, troubleshooting and instrument maintenance
