Award-winning tour operator are now looking for a full time senior sales specialist to join the existing sales team to help the company grow to the next level. The role comes with significant personal development and job advancement opportunities as well as the opportunity for overseas travel to build on current knowledge, and forge new paths in travel.
*The creation and conversion to sale of high quality tailor-made itineraries and of existing
group tours. You are ultimately responsible for planning, selling and implementation of itineraries.
*To make the most of every single genuine 'sales enquiry' received.
*To ensure the product sold to our clients and the supporting information is to the highest standard.
*Work to support operations team post-sales.
*To achieve levels of client service at all stages of the process to engender repeat business.
*To take appropriate opportunities to up-sell relevant products where appropriate.
*Interacting with our clients mostly over the telephone and by email - with some face to face meetings, mostly at trade events, sometimes in the office.
*Demonstrating a total commitment to customer service having had a trip which exceeds their expectations.
*Overseas familiarization trips to expand knowledge and develop product.
*Key role in development of Latin America product portfolio for which
*Previous sales experience within a similar tour operator environment
*Knowledge/experience of travel to and selling of Latin America
*Strong communication skills
*Customer service & selling skills
*Strong organization & time management skills
*Attention to detail
*Competitive salary dependent on experience up to £30k plus Commission
