Our client is a leading social house builder, currently undertaking a variety of projects and looking to continue its ambitious strategy of acquisition and development.
The successful candidate's role will consist of, but not be restricted to:
Sourcing and acquiring opportunities in accordance with the Land Acquisition Strategy. Including working with the New Business and Special Projects teams on opportunities they are seeking to acquire or develop
Undertaking initial Market Research through obtaining information on housing needs, selling prices for new and second hand shared ownership and outright sale properties
Preparing a feasibility Brief for the Development Team, its consultants and contractors and coordinate the gathering of relevant technical, planning and construction information for bidding
The candidate our client is looking for must:
Hold a demonstrable track record of successfully sourcing and purchasing land development opportunities and the social housing development process, from land assembly to housing for sale
Have an understanding of the planning system, outright sale, affordable housing and Section 106
Exhibit strong negotiation skills and the ability to obtain planning consent at the best possible terms
