ArtisHR are currently supporting an exciting business in south Bristol / north Somerset with the recruitment of a Senior L&D Consultant, this is a 12 month FTC and we are considering candidates ranging in the salary bracket of £30-38,000 dependant on experience.

The Senior L&C consultant is responsible for ensuring all soft skills and technical training delivered to the business meets the expectations of our managers and supports the business in achieving it's KPIs. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring our leadership team receive core and niche development solutions to support them with effective leadership and engagement of their people.
*Lead, manage, coach and engage two direct reports to ensure effective performance management
*Deliver our core offering of management training solutions including appraisals, mentoring, DTL, aspiring leaders and IManage programmes
*Design and deliver niche management development solutions as required by the business
*Ensure all new team members receive an innovative, engaging and informative corporate induction programme
*Ensure all on-boarding induction materials are kept up to date
*Ensure all new customer facing team members benefit from a customer services academy that is up to date, engaging and meets our customers' expectations in terms of route to competence
*Act as the team's coach and subject matter expert for training to ensure both classroom and e-learning materials are innovative and meet the required learning objectives
*Build solid relationships with line managers and team leaders across all three businesses to understand their departmental objectives, business pressures and their subsequent training needs
*Ensure that comprehensive learning needs analysis are completed with team leaders and line managers to capture measurable learning requirements and accurate skills gap analysis
*Ensure all learning solutions have appropriate delegate pre-course preparation and post-course evaluation in place
*Research and source training material that is up to date, accurate, on brand and appropriate to the audience and learning objectives
*Ensure all training interventions include a blend of delivery methods to ensure learning is optimised
*Utilise subject matter experts within the business to produce relevant training material
*Ensure all training delivered is professional and motivational and that both formative and summative assessment of learning takes place
*Recommend the most appropriate learning solution to line managers and team leaders to meet the learning need (training, coaching, mentoring, e-learning, self-learning, networking, experiential learning etc)
*Complete post training evaluation to ensure the business expectations have been met and all materials are kept up to date
*Keep up to date with the latest L&D trends and best practice, share knowledge with the team and look to develop our own training offering

Experience required
*Experience of leading and managing a team
*Ability to plan and prioritise workload for self and others whilst considering the wider business impact
*Strong problem solving and decision making skills
*Preferably a qualified and experienced as a coach and a member of the CIPD
*Knowledge of LNA methodologies and ability to perform departmental gap analysis
*Ability to design and create innovative new classroom and e-learning training solutions from initial conception
*Confident in delivering training courses to a range of audiences (including line managers)
*Confident at facilitating meetings and delivering presentations
*Knowledge of evaluation models to ensure continuous measurement of the impact of training on the business
*Excellent Microsoft Office skills
*Strong influencing skills
