Senior Java Developer (Java 8 SQL/PL Oracle Spring Middleware API Agile). Looking for a varied developer role which allows you to work independently on a number of interesting Java based projects?

World leading online trading company is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to create and maintain server-side components to support a highly scalable, real time trading system. You will be able to develop and utilise your Java skills whilst working on a number of projects, including helping to build a brand new application from scratch.

As a Senior Java Developer you will design and implement software components in Java, develop unit tests and take ownership of all deliverables produced. You will enjoy being able to interact with other teams within the company, knowledge sharing and providing feedback to help create exceptional trading products for customers worldwide.

Requirements:
*Strong core Java design and development skills, ideally including Java 8
*Good knowledge of Oracle Database design and development, PL/SQL or SQL skills
*Understanding of computing fundamentals, object orientated programming, threading, concurrency and distributed systems
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
