Our client offers a range of investment advice to individuals and corporate clients. The company owners built their own successful portfolio spanning many investment classes and they use their experience to help other High Net Worth Investors (HNWIs) find the right places for their money. Their services have now been extended to tax planning and financial advice to company owners who often don’t use their company profits to best serve their futures. In the world of investments, this company is a bit different. Its market sector demands professionalism, integrity and detailed research - all of which they do very well - but they also manage to inject a sense of fun and independent thinking into their culture and service.
This new role is focused on the growth of the services for with company owners. Based in south-west London, the small and professional team would suit you well if you’re looking for a role with autonomy at a company with integrity that also offers great earnings (uncapped) and the opportunity to build an amazing career.
You’ll be responsible for building relationships with the owners of profitable SME businesses to offer them the three core offerings: high return investments, expert tax planning and pension schemes. You’ll start at the very beginning by finding, researching and contacting potential clients. Via phone, email and face-to-face contact, you will ask smart questions to understand the needs of your target market and then have the gravitas and credibility to discuss the options available. Most of your time will be spent in the office (this is NOT a work from home role) and you’ll also be expected to attend networking events which occur in the evenings or, sometimes, at weekends. Once fully trained in the company and its investment options, you’ll be expected to work with very little supervision so only those able to work in that way should apply.
Here’s the ideal profile - we call it The Sales Talent Matrix - our client is seeking. In addition, you’ll need to have relatively good commuting access to Richmond in south west London. It’s unlikely you’ll tick every box but, if you have most of the requirements below, please get in touch.

Knowledge: Sales experience, both over the phone and face-to-face, preferably B2B; track record of generating significant revenue (enough to have earned at least £70kpa yourself); strong written and numerical skills; understanding of sales process and systems including CRM management.
Attitude: Hard-working; professional; motivated; polished; determined; enthusiastic; ethical.
Skills: Research skills to find the right clients (via Companies House, LinkedIn etc); good time-management; consultative sales style through full sales cycle; ability to deal with senior decision-makers and HNWIs.
Habits: Well-organised; proactive in business generation; very well presented in person and with your work; used to working autonomously.
