A vacancy has arisen for an Information Systems Analyst to join our busy Information team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, resourceful individual to support the provision of information provided to managers and front line staff within the organisation.
Working closely with the Development Team and Analysts, you will assist in the development, enhancement and maintenance of databases and business intelligence tools.
An enthusiastic team worker, you will undertake your job in a way that positively promotes co-operation and contributes to the efficiency of the workflow of others in the department.
Who we’re looking for
You will need excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and able to organise your own workload in order that deadlines are met and ensure high standards of services are maintained.
You will have experience of Microsoft SQL databases and queries, SSRS, SSIS, Visual Basic and VBA scripting and possess the ability to manipulate large and diverse datasets using databases and spreadsheets. You will also need an advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel. Knowledge of the NHS Data Dictionary, hospital information systems (Lorenzo PAS, data warehouse etc), hospital returns and commissioning data sets would be highly desirable.
You will have high attention to detail with a strong quality ethic. Strong communication skills will be required to liaise with all levels of staff within the organisation.
You will also require an advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
