Senior HR Project Manager - National
Starting from £61,500 plus an excellent benefits package including £5,500 car allowance, full family healthcare, an on target bonus of 18%, 27.5 days annual leave and pension
National with extensive travel all over the UK
We are looking for a Senior HR Project Manager to join us and lead on the deployment of the Enhancing Management Capability (EMC) programme, a nationwide programme helping to raise overall management capability through development and performance management.
About the role
Working to time and budget, you will ensure a plan is in place and that all talent and learning interventions are to the required standard, ultimately aiming to ensure that improved capability is achieved. As the programme is deployed nationally you will lead on multiple aspects from launch events, development centres, reviews and analysis, and recruitment.
Creating deployment plans for each phase of EMC with key stakeholders, you will understand specific needs, risks and conditions and adapt as needed. Acting as the interface between EMC and Business Facing HR and Talent team members, you will allow a fully integrated change focus and ensure a seamless HR service delivery to stakeholders.
Inputting to communication plans and engaging with the in scope population, you will oversee that a fair and consistent approach is applied.
The role is instrumental in capturing learning aspects from each phase of the deployment plan as we move through the programme, and therefore a key part of this role will be the ongoing analysis and supporting the cultural transition to a new way of working.
Please note this is a fixed term contract for an expected period of 18 months. The role requires extensive national travel and overnight stays.
With credible HR knowledge and application of this in an operations environment, you will have excellent influencing, communication and persuasion skills. With energy and resilience you will have evidence of engaging with people at a senior level in the organisation. You will preferably have some experience of working in a project management environment.
You will have a track record of creating and implementing management, leadership and executive development initiatives across a large multi-site organisation, and any experience of working with trade unions is desirable. Used to working at pace and hitting deadlines you will be able to drive senior development and talent activity in a way that is complementary to the programme activity and make optimal use of external supply.
