A global financial services organisation with this role based in London, are looking for a Senior HR Executive to join their team in London.

You’ll be responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive generalist HR service to London and Dusseldorf.

The main elements to the role include:

  • Providing guidance on human resources policies and procedures and initiating and amending as appropriate.
  • Offering a generalist HR service with involvement in the induction process and probations.
  • Providing employment law advice and guidance as and when required across all offices.
  • Working with other HR team members on reviewing employee manuals, policies and procedures in accordance with local employment laws.
  • Providing guidance and advice on employee relations issues including leading and assisting in grievances, disciplinaries, capability processes, PIPs and exit interviews.
  • Assisting with ensuring contracts of employment templates are up-to-date and reflect any relevant legislation changes.
  • Involvement with various projects, including international.


  • Qualified by substantial experience and/or to hold full CIPD qualification, ideally 8 years plus.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience of working in a generalist HR role and have knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and best practice. Advantageous to understand European employment law;
  • Previous experience of working in a team and not standalone.
  • Advantageous to have experience within a multicultural, multi-country business environment;
  • Experience in using SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System preferred.
  • Must be able to travel to other offices at times. (Notice will be given).
  • To be an Employee Relations (ER) expert

We’re looking for someone who has the confidence to influence others to achieve a desire outcome, who is an excellent communicator and able to build relationships. Ideally someone who can demonstrate a logical and pragmatic approach to problem solving and who is confident to speak in front of others.

This is a full time, permanent position within a really lovely HR team of about 10 people. They are offering a flexible approach to returning the office which can be discussed.

The salary is between £50,000 and £58,000 plus bonus’ and great benefits.
