Senior HR Business Partner – Group Functions
What will you be doing
This is a pivotal role within theHR Team and will hold responsibility for providing a proactive, commercial and strategic HR generalist partnership to the business to drive the people plan for each functional area, with a particular focus on Talent Management, Transformation and change, Management/Skills/Leadership Development and Recruitment, in support of the company’s business objectives and strategic plans.
You will act as an influential and trusted partner with senior stakeholder in shaping the culture and environment for their teams as well as developing and aligning the people plan across key functions. Supporting Whitbread’s overall change agenda, you will take a data led approach to HR interventions, looking for qualitative and quantitative feedback from employees and managers. You will apply external insights to inform best practices, and build HR capability for self and others whilst always considering the bigger picture, observing connections, and draw conclusions about the impact of events and activities on the business. Acting as a talent broker encouraging the transfer of individuals from one part of the organisation to another to obtain specific developmental experience, you will also work with Resourcing and other HR partners to attract, hire and retain a diverse non-management and management workforce capable of providing strong functional expertise, creativity and leadership to each function. This role also holds responsibility for leading and motivating a small team of HRBP’s and Resourcing Managers.
