About our role: Are you an experienced Senior HR Adviser who enjoys handling challenging ER cases? Do you have experience of negotiating complex cases with both employees and solicitors? Read on if our role has grabbed your attention.......... We are looking to recruit a driven and ambitious Senior HR Advisor to lead the advisory team and help develop our managers in the tricky aspects of people management. With sound commercial acumen, you will have the ability to make timely business decisions, mitigating risks, which will result in improved retention, engagement and productivity. Working in our multisite environment, our role is not for the faint hearted as you will be working at an incredible pace where results are key

Your focus: You will work with line managers to help them proactively manage all employee issues, providing recommendations to meet the requirements of our business. Alongside all ER matters, you will be advising on capability cases in a commercial yet empathetic manner and will be key to helping us reduce attrition, through your involvement in onboarding activities and development of management know-how workshops. Ideally, you will have undertaken TUPE projects, supported business integration activities and managed the people aspect of restructures.

Bring your experience:

Degree in Business or Psychology preferred (or similar)

Achieved or actively working towards CIPD Chartered Membership (MCIPD)

Significant experience of ER case handling, through to ET, in a performance driven environment

Experience of multi-site, knowledge worker environment essential

Prior team leading experience would be beneficial

Exposure to TUPE would be advantageous

Sound risk management capability coupled with pragmatic problem solving orientation

Effective stakeholder management and coaching skills

Confident oral communication and clear, succinct written communication is essential

Collaborative and flexible style with the ability to adapt your approach in line with changing business needs and personalities

More about the Team you will be working with: We are a team of around 20 (including talent acquisition and payroll etc.) and are lively, outgoing and extremely supportive. The majority of us are based in Slough with one or two anomalies. Salary range: C£50k + benefits and rewards
