Senior hotel Receptionist

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, dedicated and hardworking Senior Hotel Receptionist to join our team.

You will need to be able to work flexibly on a shifts based rota, working any five days out of seven (which will include weekends and Bank Holidays). 

Senior Hotel receptionist- The Role

•           Create an excellent first impression to all visitors

•           Take all opportunities to make reservations at the best rate

•           Welcome guests to the hotel and check them in

•           Use the switchboard to handle enquiries and queries

•           Handling cash and other payment methods when checking guests out

•           Deal with group and internet reservations efficiently

•           Using the hotel’s PMS system (Rezlynx)

•           Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment & able to prioritise work

•           Train new employees joining the Reception Team and continually train and    

            develop the existing team on an on-going basis.

Senior Hotel receptionist -The Person

•           An experienced Hotel Receptionist, you will have worked within a similar standard of hotel for at least 1 year and have gained thorough experience using Hotel PMS systems (Ideally, Rezlynx)

•           With a helpful and friendly manner, you will have the ability to cope well under pressure and work as part of a team

•           Enthusiastic and energetic, you will use your initiative to help make Hotel Felix the best hotel in Cambridge.

•           You should be customer focused with excellent communication skills.

•           Fluent spoken and written English along with a good level of computer literacy.
