The role and person
This new role will report to the Head of Risk and will work as part of a central team providing health and safety and risk management support to the Charity’s operations.
The primary focus for the role will be to provide guidance, support and advice, and to influence management teams across the Charity in managing health and safety hazards and risks effectively. The position will be expected to support the development and delivery of Charity-wide health and safety standards aimed at achieving continual improvement in health and safety performance whilst demonstrating compliance with statutory standards.
The successful candidate will have had experience of working in estates and facilities environments, with a familiarity with healthcare or care environments being an advantage. The role will require a CMIOSH or Grad IOSH qualification to be held.
The position would suit someone interested in broadening their knowledge and experience of working collaboratively with other risk management disciplines possibly as part of a longer term career objective.
