Job Specification:Senior Front-end developer
This is a senior role within the software development team reporting directly to the Development Manager. You will take overall responsibility for the development of all customer-facing User Experience portals and applications, bring a fresh, exciting and professional presentation layer for our products and services.
You will be our subject-matter expert in all aspects of front end design and best practice.You will be given the opportunity to develop and implement marketing leading applications that showcase both your skills as a developer and your team’s abilities to deliver truly outstanding products. Our products span from short projects to build branded Wifi access portals to designing with our BI specialist a new analytics tool.

·Source Control e.g. Git

Duties and responsibilities
·Lead, manage and develop the front end development team;
·Subject-matter expert for UX design and presentation layers;
·Specify, implement and support all front-end software development frameworks, tools and services under the direction of the Development Manager;
·Take full responsibility for all output from the front end team, guaranteeing error-free code and no unplanned service-impacts from releases;
·Comply with ISO9001 QMS and ISO27001 ISMS systems.
Skills and experience
·Graduate-level education in software development;
·Up to date knowledge of user-centred design and best practices;
·Strong working knowledge of the current design tools in use at WiFi SPARK;
·Experience of Amazon Web Services (AWS) would be advantageous but not essential;
·Extensive experience with responsive desktop and mobile UX applications;
·Good time-management skills and accurate time estimation when quoting tasks;
·Strong team and project management skills;

·Holidays: 22 days + 5 days (Bank holidays) to allocate at your leisure + 3 days for Christmas and New Year = 30 Days holiday per year including bank holidays.
