BTG Search & Selection has been engaged by a City Center Manchester organisation as they look to increase their level of talent across Financial Reporting Teams following 3 recent International acquisitions.
The Role: Senior Financial Reporting Manager
This is a new appointment within my clients structure. It will sit between the Group Financial Controller and Core Financial Reporting Team who you will manage.
The financial accounts team are responsible for overseeing and producing the Group's external reporting and providing technical accounting expertise.
*Preparation of the Annual Report including drafting business review and CFO statements
*Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements for the Group and its UK subsidiaries
*Manage the Group's audit and to ensure that the year end audit process runs smoothly
*Preparation of interim results announcements and quarterly trading updates
*Review investor presentations and support Director of Investor Relations
*Maintain excellent working knowledge of IFRS and fully consider the accounting implications of transactions or changes to the operations of the Group in light of these standards
Background / Experience
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Technical knowledge of IFRS is essential
*Detail experience of Financial Statement production or review
*Experience of communicating positions taken to senior stakeholders
You will manage 4 direct reports who have a strong background in ACA practice.
This role is ideally suited to a Qualified Accountant, with a passion for people management, IFRS reporting and engaging key stakeholders in creating robust control measures and reporting.
