Senior Financial Planner/Investment Adviser

Consulting business in London. Within this business area they work with a range of clients including Sovereign Wealth Funds, Financial Institutions, Private Clients (UHNW) and Corporates providing a range of investment services such as Investment Policy, Counterparty Risk Management, Manager Selection & Assessment and Asset Allocation advice.

With the promotion of a Director into a business leadership role, a requirement has arisen within their Private Client business for a Senior Manager to join. The role is to take on a portfolio of clients in the UHNW space whom the firm provide Investment Advisory services to. The clients in this space have wide ranging needs and require a talented individual to design and implement optimal investment strategies on their behalf.

In this diverse, client focussed role you will be utilising your investment expertise to establish a suitable mix of investments which meet individual clients’ targeted investment returns and in fitting with their appetite for risk. You will bring expertise in portfolio construction, asset allocations, manager selection and portfolio monitoring for UHNW individuals. The role is supported by a team of Paraplanning and Fund Selection and Monitoring Associates who provide research and suitability support.

For this role, my client is seeking an experienced Investment professional who has worked with UHNW individuals. You will have a track record of creating tailored investment solutions and strategies for a sophisticated client group. CFA qualification preferred. This role does not require someone to bring assets or be heavily business development in focus. The successful transition of the clients from the existing contact to successful applicant is key objective.
