Alexander Daniels are working exclusively in partnership with a very progressive, exciting, profitable business in Warwickshire to recruit an extremely interesting role that combines financial control and commercial analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for pre and post investment appraisals on huge projects and joint ventures with budgets exceeding £750m. We are looking to pay the Senior Financial Analyst c£60K plus sizeable bonus, excellent benefits and a great work / life balance.
The Senior Financial Analyst role has become available due to internal progression and will report directly into the Financial Director within a fairly small but very experienced and switched on finance function.
In more detail, the role consists of the control and allocation of expenditure on a number of live projects, preparation of reports and analysis for board and client meetings, profitability analysis and management of long term contracts, modelling of complex schemes, cash flow management and overseeing the outsourced statutory accounts preparation and audit process.
You will be ideal for the Senior Financial Analyst role if you are ACA qualified, have some corporate finance or restructuring experience and are an ambitious self starter. This is an entrepreneurial environment, so you must be adaptable, welcome change and have a personality that can hold it's own when challenging or being challenged by senior internal and external stakeholders. Audit, investment appraisal, mergers & acquisition and property / construction experience will certainly be of benefit when applying for this role.
