A dynamic and progressive company within the property industry are experiencing an upturn in growth and therefore looking to expand their busy and successful team. For this purpose, they require a Senior Finance Assistant, to oversee the Finance and Accounts department, with a view to eventually becoming the Finance Manager.
The Senior Finance Assistant
As the Senior Finance Assistant, you will be undertaking a wide range of finance tasks that will assist multiple areas of the business. This will include processing bank statements, expenses, credit reports and reconciliations. There are also elements of credit control involved in the role, as well as management of contractor payments and management of the business accounts. You will also be expected to complete ad hoc finance and accounts duties. With the business growing, the duties may well be expanded and progressed to become a Finance Manager.
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in the role, you must have a good few years experience of working in finance and accounts. No formal qualifications are required but would be desirable. You must be highly organised and able to handle multiple duties. You will also be unafraid of credit control and able to reconcile accounts. Any experience of finance or accounts within the property sector would also be desirable. You will also be ambitious and want to progress your career to Finance Manager level, which this company will offer the opportunity for.
What's On Offer
For the successful Senior Finance Assistant, a salary of £26,000-£28,000 will be on offer. However, the company is willing to be flexible for the right person. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, with some flexibility required for busy periods.
