Senior Operations Coordinator - FTSE 250 EVENTS ORGANISATION
City / Central London based
CONTRACT, 9 MONTH MATERNTIY COVER FROM JAN 202 - £28K + 10% BONUS

The Senior Operations Coordinator will have experience in managing the operations and budget for medium to large-scale corporate events covering a range of locations, cultures and formats. In addition, they will also support the teams across the business by sharing their knowledge and experience when giving advice to other team members.
-End to end operational management of events to include full budget control and signing off your own invoices without requiring manager approval.
-Participate in all project meetings with the wider event team and to be proactive in proposing suggestions to ensure each event is as successful as possible.
-Monitor client contracts and regularly review with the Sales department to ensure all deliverables are achieved.
-Regularly reviewing operations processes and suggesting improvements where necessary and possible.
-Ensuring suitable venues are on hold or contracted one year before an allocated event will take place.
-Sign off your branding for each event.
-Mentoring the Operations team when required to assist with any challenges they are experiencing.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
-Experience of working on events, ideally in a corporate environment - operational management and full budget control experience ideally.
-A proactive approach to work and able to manage and take responsibility for your workload.
-Ability and confidence to suggest changes and improvements where appropriate.
-Excellent communication skills, both internally when assisting and training other team members and externally to clients and suppliers.
-Exceptional attention to detail, especially when working under pressure.
-Strong negotiation skills with venues and suppliers.
-A willingness to travel
Beneficial knowledge, skills and experience:
-Knowledge of the Salesforce CRM system
-Foreign language skills
