Senior Engineer Automotive
A world renowned Tier 1 automotive supplier is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Engineer to join their team. The main focus of this role will be to supervise and support a small team to enable the effective introduction of new and revised production processes.
It is essential that you carry solid understanding of high quality painting techniques along with high quality finishing.
Working as a senior team member you will bring a hands-on approach to management, dealing with all managerial issues. You will ensure that PFMEA is generated at a correct time, and relevant controls are adopted for planned manufacturing processes. You will show the ability to interpret engineering drawings/data notes and part specifications.
You will drive both continuous improvement and best practice, contributing to the achievement of QSES and 5Z plan. By developing and monitoring processes/equipment to meet KPI's, you will proactively manage Process Improvement and MTCR activity for associated processes. You will be tasked with providing information regarding process/project status to the Management Team as required.
Working closely with your team, you will ensure that all Engineers carry familiarity with PUWER 98/CE requirements. It is essential that you ascertain conformance with H&S standards and environmental systems. Additionally, you will plan and carry out PADR's with Engineers as required.
In order to be considered for this role it is essential that you carry extensive experience in interior engineering and project introduction. You must also show solid understanding of high quality painting techniques, namely high quality finishing.
You will show a working knowledge of G-CIPPS and EPMS project management systems.
You must have previous managerial/supervisory experience, capable of leading a small team of Engineers.
A minimum HNC Level accreditation is essential, however, Degree qualification is highly desirable.
