Senior Engine Test Technicians
The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive Testing business in Bedfordshire who hold an excellent reputation within the sector and are seeking Senior Engine Test Technicians to join them on a permanent basis with a number of shifts available.
Joining the Propulsion Engine Testing centre in Bedfordshire you will be responsible for running propulsion systems within a testbed environment including full set up, test cell configuration, servicing and running engine tests. The role will be working with the companies end users focusing on economy and emissions with a focus on engine performance.
The day-to-day duties include:
- Test piece palletisation, installation and setup of instrumentation
- Validate basic engine running within a test cell environment
- Servicing and hardware changes
- Identify and diagnose unit faults both mechanically and electrically
What we are looking for:
- Automotive qualification within a testing environment
- Strong understanding of gasoline and diesel engine operation
- Automotive fault diagnostics
- Organised with good communication skills
