Senior Energy Engineer

Our client is an established Energy Consultancy in the UK. They were formed to focus purely on the Low Carbon and Energy driven works involved on development and refurbishment projects.

Our client is committed to assist and guide their clients in the property and construction worlds to comply with legislation, reduce CO2 emissions, energy costs and improve the marketability and value of their buildings.

The team has experience on a wide variety of domestic and commercial construction projects in the public and private sector. They work closely within appointed design teams to advise on low energy, high performance buildings and systems. Their team members are registered Low Carbon Consultants and Chartered Engineers with CIBSE.


Our Client is seeing a vast increase in activity associated with the construction industry, particularly relating to new build commercial projects. To continue their excellent level of compliance and thermal analysis service to their clients, their multi-discipline building services consultancy practice is looking to expand.

Within their office locations set in Birmingham or Northampton, the practice intends to appoint qualified assessors with strong client facing skills to support their Birmingham/Northampton team. You will be

  • building energy audits
  • energy strategy reports for planning applications
  • feasibility studies


  • Experienced IES Modeller
  • Experience of working in a mechanical and electrical Building services design environment
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Work to deadlines
  • Team player
  • Able to work under pressure, effectively whilst maintaining high quality workmanship.
