Senior Employee Benefits Consultant (Pensions) - Salary £35,000 + Excellent Benefits

Based: Leicestershire

Our Client is a leading firm of IFA's who provide advice to HNW individuals and SME's. We are searching for a motivated Senior Employee Benefits Consultant. This is a key role within the organisation developing new business connections and providing qualified advice to corporate clients, whilst managing a team of Employee Benefit Consultants. This is a client facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all aspects of maintaining existing business and identifying new opportunities from existing clients
  • Provide Pensions and Employee Benefit related Solutions and advice to corporate clients
  • Proactively develop suitable connections which will generate business
  • Provide solutions and appropriate options on new and existing products to corporate clients
  • Prepare full and complete recommendation reports
  • Maintain and develop client relationships, maximising their potential
  • Ensure all targets are met and work is completed in a compliant manner and meets the quality standards
  • Maintain own knowledge of current affairs and the potential impact on client issues, and maintain an accurate and relevant CPD record

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in employee benefits from carrying out a similar role
  • Strong time management and negotiation skills
  • Able to research, analyse and interpret a diverse range of information
  • A strong understanding of Auto Enrolment would be beneficial
  • Ideally Diploma qualified with R04 completed
  • Proven business development skills are essential with a proven record of success
  • Strong presentation skills with specific emphasis on pensions and related benefits
  • Strong account management and communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to a wide variety of people with various levels of understanding both written and verbally
