Job Position: Senior Emissions Engineer - In Service Monitoring

Job Status: Permanent

Responsibilities: Managing In Service Monitoring (ISM) emissions tests in support of Stage V programmes and Research and Development activities from planning through to completion, including documenting testing and results.
Advising on correct duty cycles and test locations.
Establish SOP's for testing, best practices and safe methods of working.
To analyse ISM tests ensuring they achieve legal test requirements.
Support improvements of ISM test installations, working areas, minimising machine downtime Ensure that all testing is carried out in a safe manner

Qualifications &
Experience: An Automotive Emissions Engineer or Powertrain Engineer with good experience of powertrain testing, machine testing and/or vehicle testing.
You would have direct experience of engine exhaust emission testing either on a Dynamometer or in real world conditions.
You should be Degree / HND or equivalent qualified in an automotive, mechanical or similar discipline, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
You must have a full UK driving license Demonstration of foreign language skills in French, German, Spanish or Italian would be advantageous.
You must be able to work independently and remotely as part of a small team. You must be willing to travel outside of the UK for extended periods, and be able to work and travel in mainland Europe without restriction.
You must be flexible in your day to day tasks and able to take ownership of issues that may arise.
You may often work in customer facing scenarios and will often be representing the company to the wider industry

Salary: £35,000 - £46,000
