Senior Electronics Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Electronics Engineer to work in Cambridgeshire with a world-renowned consumer product manufacturer, includes UK and International travel.

The successful applicant will work within the electronics team to develop, support and test a range of technically leading products. Work will include Printed Circuit Board PCB development for embedded systems, hardware / firmware integration, system testing and manufacturing / operations support.

The role is ideal for a qualified Senior Electronics Engineer with at least 5 year's experience and previous experience in embedded systems for high-volume consumer electronics or similar.

You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of electronic engineering and PCB design.

It is essential that you have a proven track record of designing PCBs where an awareness of cost, reliability, product compliance (EN 60335 or similar), manufacturing/assembly techniques and design for test/manufacture is required.

Must also have strong skills and experience with PCB design software, specifically Altium.

Previous experience with mains and battery-powered devices, and a basic knowledge of Embedded C and LabVIEW would be highly beneficial.

This role is Cambridge base with some travel to other UK offices and some international travel to China, EU & US.
