Principal Electronic Design Engineer

Basildon

Paying up to £75p/h (Inside IR35)

Responsibilities:

  • Electronic design analysis, circuit simulation, and prototyping
  • Electronic schematic capture and PCB layout support
  • Power supply and interface circuit design for digital processors and microcontrollers
  • High-speed digital design - including FPGA, DDR, and high-speed LVDS video designs
  • Testing and debugging of electronic circuits
  • Integration and Verification of System and Sub-Systems
  • Support to Qualification (including EMC)

Experience required:

  • Knowledge and experience of all stages of the engineering development lifecycle
  • Digital & Analogue Electronic design knowledge
  • Board-level PCB design (ideally using Siemens EDA Xpedition Enterprise)
  • Operating at the product system level
  • Specifying and defining COTS items
  • System level integration
