The Senior Electrical Engineer will work in partnership with Manufacturing and Maintenance contributing to the complete Middlesbrough Plant engineering function.

The successful applicant will ensure that processes, systems, equipment and people are maintained and developed in an effective way to meet priorities for asset improvement and reliability.

Client Details

The company is a well known, global organisation with sites across the North East and Middlesbrough, Teeside area.

They are currently looking to bring a Senior Electrical Engineer in to the team to support the site engineering maintenance function.

As part of company and site succession planning you will have area responsibility from day one with routes in to General, Project or Operations Management.


  • Ensures engineering activities are carried out in a safe manner
  • Conduct audits
  • Set KPI's
  • Manage maintenance strategies fro the Middlesbrough plant
  • As the Senior Electrical Engineer provide specialist technical support
  • Mentor and Coach Engineers
  • Monitor plant performance
  • CI - Improve asset management
  • Capital budget responsibility


The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will ideally be educated to degree level with a proven track record from an industrial background that could be Foundry, Forge, Steel, Petrochems or Chemical.

The successful apllicant should have an Engineering Degree as a Chartered Engineer (Desireable) or working towards (minimum).

Job Offer

circa £45,000 DOE
