Senior Ecommerce Developer - Magento - Perm - Edinburgh - Excellent Package

Abrecco are working with our Edinburgh based client to recruit a back-end Ecommerce Developer with Magento experience to join a multidiscipline development team and contribute to the development and improvement of global ecommerce solutions. You will have strong back-end development skills, an excellent understanding of current and legacy browser constraints and ideally have experience delivering complex multi-currency solutions. This is a varied and challenging role requiring strong technical capabilities coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work directly with clients.

Role responsibilities:
- Contribute to the back-end design and development of a global Magento solution
- Take a leading role in the delivery of projects
- Contribute to proposals, technical documentation etc
- Collaborate with technical and business teams across the business
- Work with existing and prospective clients including delivering presentations

Personal and technical attributes:
- Proven ecommerce development experience
- In depth knowledge and experience with Magento (ideally versions 1 & 2)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with the constraints and capabilities of current and legacy browsers
- SVN / git version control experience
- Magento certification and/or experience supporting Shopify or similar would be beneficial
